“In Bloom:” Spring Photo Essay
By Colton Creasy
As spring comes to an end and we are about to welcome summer, Colton Creasy shares his perspective of walking downtown and seeing the potential bloom just like the spring buds.
“Walking downtown as the sun moves through the early spring sky, light shines on the unnoticed. On the empty building bursting with potential, on the bloom slowly pushing its way out of a branch, on the sidewalk waiting to be repaired. The light makes us pay attention to the details and appreciate a moment of growth. Like spring waking up the world after a period of rest, downtown is aglow with potential. A bud on a branch of the city ready to bloom.”
